1Your membership
How does the free trial work?
A free chair at the table: 5 days on the house. You get everything for 5 days, and you don’t need a card to start.
What happens when my 5 days end?
Your free access simply ends. Nothing is charged. If you’d like to stay, you can choose the Monthly or Yearly membership, and you’ll see the price before you pay.
How much is membership?
A$10 a month or A$100 a year, in Australian dollars, including GST where it applies. Your bank converts the price if you pay in another currency.
Does it renew by itself?
Yes. Your membership renews each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel yourself on our website. It takes about a minute:
- Log in on our website, on your phone or computer.
- Tap your picture or initial at the top right. On a phone, tap the menu (☰) first if you need to.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Billing.
- Next to your membership, tap the three dots (⋯).
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
You keep full access until the end of the time you’ve already paid for. Cancelling works in a web browser. The Kajabi app can’t do it. Rather not do it yourself? Email pete@peteevanschef.com and we’ll cancel it for you.
How do I change my card?
Follow steps 1 to 4 above, then tap Edit next to your card under “Manage card payments”, type your new details and tap Update Card.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes. Email pete@peteevanschef.com and we’ll switch it for you.
How do I stop your emails?
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Tap it and you’re off the list, usually straight away and always within 5 business days. We’ll still send receipts and account messages you need.
I forgot my password.
On the login page, tap Forgot password and enter your email. We’ll send a reset link. It lasts 6 hours, so use it soon. Check your spam folder if it doesn’t arrive.
2Learning about Bitcoin
I know nothing about Bitcoin. Is this for me?
Yes. Level 1 starts with what money is, in plain words. Go at whatever pace feels right, for every age.
Do I need to buy Bitcoin to join?
No. You can learn everything here without buying any. Many people buy a small amount once they feel ready, and some never do. It’s your choice.
Is this financial advice?
No. Everything here is general information and education. Nothing is personal financial, medical or health advice, and it doesn’t consider your situation. Bitcoin’s price can rise and fall sharply, and you could lose money. Please speak with a licensed adviser before making money decisions. More in our Disclaimer.
Will you ever ask for my seed words?
Never. The Bitcoin Table, Chef Pete Evans and our Partners will never ask for your seed words, private keys or passwords. Anyone who does is a scammer. Our wallet tools only ever ask for a public key (xpub), which can show a balance and can’t move funds.
Who is The Bitcoin Adviser?
A company that helps people set up shared (collaborative) custody for their Bitcoin. I’m a proud Partner of The Bitcoin Adviser. They charge for their service, and using my link doesn’t change the price you pay. Please compare your options and decide for yourself.
Why are Bitcoin prices shown in US dollars first?
Most Bitcoin news is in US dollars, so we show USD first and Australian dollars second. Your membership is always charged in Australian dollars.
3Recipes and the meal planner
Why are there recipes on a Bitcoin site?
Chef Pete Evans believes good food and sound money both help you look after your future. HODL Your Health and 257 recipes come with membership.
Can I print my meal plan?
All members can email their meal plan to themselves. Paid members can also print and download it.
Are the recipes medical advice?
No. They’re general ideas for everyday cooking. Please talk to your doctor before you change your diet, and always check ingredients for allergies.
