Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Your bank converts the price if you pay in another currency.
2How it works
Choose your gift
Pick a year or a month, then tick “Send as a gift” at checkout.
Add their details
Type their email and a personal note. Send it today, or choose a special day up to 6 months ahead.
They open it
They tap the button in their email, set a password, tick two short boxes, and their seat is ready.
Gifts sent on a chosen day arrive in the very early hours in Australia and New Zealand, the day after the date you pick. If it matters, choose the day before.
3Been given a gift?
- Find the gift email from The Bitcoin Table. Check your spam or promotions folder if you can’t see it.
- Tap the button in the email and set a password.
- Open Start here and tick two boxes: the Terms of Use, and that everything here is general education, with no financial, medical or health advice.
- Your membership opens straight away. Welcome to the table.

4Gift questions
Who is it a good gift for?
Anyone curious about Bitcoin who’d like it explained simply and calmly, for every age. It suits birthdays, thank-yous and special days.
Will anyone be charged when the gift ends?
No. You pay once and it never renews. They don’t need a card to open it. Near the end, we’ll send them a friendly note, and they can choose to join themselves or simply stop.
Do they need to own any Bitcoin?
No. They can learn everything here without buying any. Whether they ever buy is their own choice.
Is this financial advice?
No. Everything here is general information and education. Nothing is personal financial, medical or health advice. Bitcoin’s price can rise and fall sharply. See our Disclaimer.
Can I give it in person?
Yes. Set the delivery day to the day you’ll see them, and tell them to look for the email from The Bitcoin Table.
Can I change the date or who it goes to?
Yes. Once you’ve bought a gift, it’s theirs to enjoy, so we don’t offer change-of-mind refunds. If it hasn’t been opened yet, we can change the day, the email address, or the person it goes to. And if the person you chose would rather not use it, they can pass it on to someone they love. Just email pete@peteevanschef.com. If something goes wrong on our end, like a gift that never arrives or won’t open, we’ll fix it or refund you.
Can I give more than one gift?
Yes. Each gift goes to one person, so check out once for each person.
Will you ever ask them for seed words?
Never. The Bitcoin Table will never ask anyone for seed words, private keys or passwords.
